Smart Renovations was built around a simple idea – that homeowners deserve a complete service. Not just someone to swing a hammer, but a team that owns the whole process: design, planning, project management, every trade, and the follow-through after handover.
We started in Richmond Hill and grew across the GTA because we focused on one thing: doing the job right and building trust with every client. Word of mouth did the rest. More than half of our new projects come from referrals – homeowners who had a good experience and told their neighbours.
After over 1,000 completed projects, what drives us has not changed. We still care about every kitchen, every bathroom, every walkthrough. The scale has grown. The standard has not.

We are a design-build company
Our in-house design team and our construction team are the same company. The designer who plans your kitchen is directly connected to the team that builds it. There is no gap between what you approve and what gets installed.
Our trades have worked with us for years
Carpentry, tile, plumbing, electrical, painting – each trade on our team has worked with us long enough to know our standards. That consistency shows in the finished product. A team that knows each other works better and faster.
We have two real showroom offices
Richmond Hill and Woodbridge. Come in to see materials, discuss your project, or just ask questions. Our team is there Monday to Saturday. A physical presence matters to us – it means you always know exactly where to find us.
We measure success by repeat clients and referrals
Awards are meaningful. But what we are most proud of is the number of clients who have come back for a second project, or sent a friend or family member our way. That only happens when you genuinely deliver on what you promise.

We carry $5 million in general liability insurance. Your home and property are fully protected throughout the entire project.
Every project comes with a 1-Year Labour Warranty. Anything that is not right after handover — we come back and fix it at no charge.
